parameter : ef_construction

Sorry to bother you again.

As you set M larger in level 0 than in other layers, i was wondering the same thing for parameter ef_construction.

Whether it is possible that setting ef_construction smaller in other layer and larger in layer 0 to balance the construction time and index quality ? Or just almost having no difference in index quality or increasing building time obviouly comparing with same smaller ef_construction in each layer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @qumingzhentmnan, I think setting different ef_construction parameters would indeed help a little, but it is not entirely clear how to select them, which creates problem for parameter tuning.
