No network connection on restart after using Npcap
Hello,
I recently installed Wireshark and therefore installed Npcap (v1.00) too.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with Npcap and its Npcap Packet Driver. On every restart after using Wireshark with Npcap, Windows can’t connect via Ethernet. This is only resolved by disabling and enabling the ethernet network adapter.
This issue did not occur when disabling the Npcap Packet Driver in the network adapter properties, but this (obviously) prevents me from using Wireshark properly.
A reinstall of Npcap did not help either.
This issue is not limited to one machine, it occurred on a different pc as well.
Here are some diagnostic reports:
Situation after restart, no network/internet connection: DiagReport-20201112-142140.txt
Situation after disabling and reenabling the ethernet network adapter: DiagReport-20201112-142252.txt
I am having the exact same issue, but it seems to be limited to one machine. If I disable the Npcap driver in adapter properties, there are not any problems, but if its enabled whenever the PC restarts the only way to connect to internet is to restart the ethernet adapter. I was having this issue on previous versions and on 1.00 too.

same as https://github.com/nmap/npcap/issues/263#issue-748164269
same issue here, windows 10, exactly as described above
Same problem, had to uninstall.
Same problem here
I had the same issue with Wireshark 3.4.5, which bundles the 1.10 version of Npcap, but installing the newest Npcap 1.31 version from here solved the problem.
