Preview layout issues in block theme editor in Firefox browser
I'm not sure if this is a known limitation, but I'm running into some layout problems, when using Visual Portfolio as a block element in the block theme editor. As far as I can tell this only affects the assistant that is shown when a new block is created and the preview layout of the grid, which only shows a single column regardless of settings. On the actual website everything looks fine.
Here are some screenshots:
I'm running the latest version of Wordpress (6.2.2) and Visual Portfolio (3.1.2) and had the same issues on multiple installs of Wordpress (local and remote)
Looks like some specific theme/plugin is conflicting, can you test it on a fresh WP installation with a standard Twenty Twenty-Three theme?
I have checked it and can't reproduce this issue.
I tested this on multiple fresh Wordpress installations, all with the latest versions of Wordpress and the Visual Portfolio plugin, twenty twenty-three theme and no other plugins at all. I tried it locally with localWP on Mac and PC and on my remote server (also a fresh install). Like I said, the issue doesn't appear when Visual Portfolio is added in the post/page block editor. Only in the theme editor (e.g. the Home template or Front Page template).
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it at all. I have tested it locally using LocalWP (for Mac only) and tested it on our production sites. I have tried fresh installation and tried to insert a block in the Home page template and Page templates as you said, also I have tried changing different page templates like the header and footer. And our plugin works as expected and I never saw it like on your screenshots.
This is why I want to see the reproduction steps, because for me the plugin is working just fine... If you can provide me login details on your test WordPress installation where the plugin is not working correctly, it will be helpful. I think I have figured it out. It seems to be a Firefox specific issue. On Safari the grid displays as expected in the theme editor. I don't have any other browsers to test this right now unfortunately. Like I said, the functionality on the front end is fine, even on Firefox.
Looks like a browser-specific issue, I can see it now. I didn't test it with Firefox before.
