NJOY signals missing data by segfaulting ;)

Open brown170 opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

I've had two cases of bad ENDF files missing crucial parts of data (an elastic channel in once case and fission data in another). In both cases I overlooked the missing parts (I know, stupid mistake) and only discovered the problem when trying to figure out why NJOY segfaulted. Would it be possible to have NJOY check if data is present before attempting to use it? I made a bad file so you can try it.

Do you have an input deck that shows NJOY breaking somewhere? We need to know where to begin looking.
