I would strongly push for resizing from both bottom corners at least.
Sadly my Windows machine is currently broken and testing this on macOS seems to yield different results (all corners and edges allow resizing, as expected). I'll leave it to someone...

I was wondering this myself, but after a brief discussion in #alacritty, it seems like the stance is that users who run their own `shell.program` should do the wrapping themselves...

Might also be a good idea to mention #7690 if/when that lands. Not that that should block this PR, just something that came to my mind.
What other than the update to the man pages and CHANGELOG is needed here?
This has nothing to do with alacritty, I recommend playing with your shell until it behaves as expected.
