templates/app/flake.nix doesn't work

Describe the issue

I was trying to migrate my project vom niv to flakes, and tried copying the flake template from templates/app/flake.nix. nix build complained that the flake doesn't define defaultPackage or packages. Which, indeed, it doesn't. When I changed apps to packages and defaultApp to defaultPackage, it worked.
