can't install on ubuntu 20.04+
The nitroshare home page https://nitroshare.net/ explains that it can be installed on ubuntu.
However, nor sudo apt-get install nitroshare
nor ppa:george-edison55/nitroshare
have packages for ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04
The page must be corrects, hoping that there is a way to install nitroshare on these distro.
Ditto. Disappointed. :( New install of Linux Mint 21, 64bit. Damn. I hate when I find something that looks really good & promising and it's been dumped. I understand if you can't keep it going, but remove or tag it as abandoned, etc....
Can't even unpack the gzip:
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format tar: Child returned status 1 tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
I moved to warpinator (https://github.com/linuxmint/warpinator). It is available for linux (debian/mint and arch), windows and android. It works fine in a local network.

Good grief! It's already installed in 21! Just used it and it's frigging instantaneous! Wow. Cheers
I can't install it either on my Xubuntu 22.04 version either
