Unable to listen on port 40818

Hi, recently I install the new version of nitroshare. The installation is fine, but upon opening the program I get an error which says: "Unable to listen on port 40818"

I saw a similar issue raised by someone in 2015 but I am unable to follow those instructions.

Generally this problem is causing because your nitroshre is already running on your system. Simple solution will be as per below.

  1. Open your task manager and find the all current instances of nitroshre.exe in processes tab.
  2. Then end all the running nitroshre.exe processes.
  3. Restart your nitroshare.

Generally nitroshre won't open GUI. You have to open it from notification center by right clicking it.
