[ENH] SPM NewSegment with SPM25

Hello !

We use Nipype for pipelining in our neuroimaging software tool (Clinica) to interface with known software of the community. This year, SPM12 has released SPM25 and seems to have removed access to previous versions and we thus need to adapt to this modification.

Since SPM25 contains both SPM8 and SPM12, it technically works to use it with Nipype (as in : our pipelines still complete). However for some functionalities it retrogrades to SPM8 processes due to the way it is coded in Nipype :

We would be interested in having permanent modifications to adjust for this in Nipype instead of coding our own interface in Clinica. It is possible for us to provide the code.

If we open a PR, do you think it could be merged and a new version of Nipype could be released soon (before end of 2025) ?
