How to customize colorbar

Is there are way to change the colorbar settings. For example, can we make the colorbar vertical instead of horizontal and/or can we change the size of the colorbar and it's font using brain.add_overlay?

It would also be nice if there was a way to change the colorbar settings so that every brain image in the 4 pane brain display does not have its own colorbar because having a colorbar for each brain is redundant. Also when I try to add these plots to my presentations or papers, the colorbar font is too small which is why it would be nice to be able to change this.
