Steam Deck + Frontend is broken
The latest update adds Stream Deck + support. The software correctly identifies my device as Stream Deck +, but the UI is broken and there's no way to assign functions to the touch bar or dials. See the image below for an example of the UI.
So, the touchscreens aren't supported yet as that takes a good amount of work, seeing how different they are to the rest of the Stream Deck SDK.
As for the dials, though, they worked at some point, but I haven't been able to test them for about a year, so I wouldn't be surprised if they no longer worked properly.
Although, if your issue is just about not being able to assign actions to them, then you might just have to keep looking for an action that works because not all actions can be assigned to them.
Also, I don't know what you mean about the latest update adding support. Nothing changed regarding the SD+ for a very long time.
You said:
I went through all the BarRaider volume controls for Spotify and OBS but unfortunately looks like none of them can be assigned. I've used them previously with Elgato's software and StreamController so they should be working on the dials.
Does you deleting & closing imply you found an action that worked? I would like to know if the dial support really is broken or not
@TheKing6488 (or @goldsale if you're still around) please could you try the latest commit and see if everything works? There's building from source instructions in the README
Here's a screenshot of what it looks like now (I don't have an SD+ so I made it think my SD Mini had 3 dials)
The dials are now correctly rendered, and the Run Command and Device Brightness actions are supported on the dials. This is tested working by edgeform on Discord
