One more thing I decided to admit. May be it is pampering or not your caring. Font does not support special symbols with on-my-zsh and seems powerline. Looks like on image

I'll look into it. I would appreciate it if you could copy-paste the text of your prompt into a comment so I can look at the unicode. It doesn't matter if it looks right in the browser.

P.S. One more "narrow place" - there is trouble ONLY in Terminology terminal.

Tilix, xfce4-terminal, sakura - all fine..... deepin-terminal, lxterminal, qterminal, suckless-st - fine too:  09:46:06 AM  hackerman  ~  2018-09-18-095825_1021x42_scrot

Well the difference is because your other terminals are doing different font substitutions, but it shouldn't be a problem once bitocra has the proper glyph.

some strange things are happening to the overall font when I try to add these glyphs. This issue may take some time to resolve. Sorry! :(

I will patch this font (or fork) for adding powerline symbols and some icons (wifi, batttery, volume etc...) soon. Hold on @Ygarr
