Chrome Extension Manifest v3 is problematic. Firefox supports Manifest v2 just fine, I think.

Hi, do you mean publishing a V3 for Chrome and V2 specifically for Firefox? or getting rid of V3 extension in favour of V2?

That really depends on what APIs the extensions makes use of. I looked it up and it seems Firefox has started rolling out some support for Manifest v3 recently.
