Vim

I see here [1] that Vim is mentioned, however that syntax has not actually been integrated into the Vim project. I opened an issue [2] with the Nim syntax author some months ago, but they never responded. I also opened an issue at the Vim repo [3].

Does anyone in the Nim group have Vim experience, that would be willing to vouch for the Nim syntax in that other repo? If so, it might be helpful to comment support in the vim/vim issue.

Maybe it's better to use syntax from https://github.com/alaviss/nim.nvim as that's generally more maintained although it's for NVim? I don't know how compatible are NVim syntax definitions with Vim though.

The owner at alaviss/nim.nvim says thats not a good idea
