Open 0riginaln0 opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Windows 10, Nim 2.0.8 installed via Choosenim

I installed the extension and pressed "Yes" on the pop-up which suggests to install the nimlangserver. It has successfully installed

2024-08-00 0022:0024:0055.000438 - Success: nimlangserver installed successfully.

2024-08-00 0022:0024:0057.0059 - Nimble install successfully
2024-08-00 0022:0024:0057.0060 - nimlangserver found: C:\Users\first\.vscode-nim\nimbledeps\bin\nimlangserver.cmd
2024-08-00 0022:0024:0057.0060 - Starting nimlangserver.

but right after that the error appeared: image

the pcre64.dll file exists in the C:\Users\first\.choosenim\toolchains\nim-2.0.8\bin folder, but not in the C:\Users\first\.vscode-nim\nimbledeps\bin\

after reloading the vscode some others errors appear, but just for a moment image

Solved by adding to the pass not only the C:\Users\first\.nimble\bin\ , but also the C:\Users\first\.choosenim\toolchains\nim-2.0.8\bin\
