Passwords are not displayed

Hi! i have a new installation on a windows 11 VM system and the following issue:

Expected behaviour

Passwords should be displayed when I log in with a user account that has the appropriate access rights and click on the eye symbol for the respective entries.

Actual behaviour

when i click on the eye to display the corresponding password, a loading icon appears and then nothing is displayed.
