The only parts I modified are the names of our domain and users. The rest is unmodified.

Yes, it is a fresh install and I have created a handful of local users, however I want all users to log in using LDAP.

Hello nilsteampassnet,

I'm trying to setup TeamPass and I've hit this same issue.

LDAP test current configuration is sucessfull but neither "Login through LDAP" or "Manage Users" work. "Manage Users" results in the same error message as the subject of this issue report.

I'm interested in pursuing this issue if you would like to setup a webex/skype session.

@DaveWebb2 @nilsteampassnet Had this same issue. I could access the user list, but my coworker could not despite being set as a manager. This was fixed by assigning him to a role.

I'm seeing this issue as well :( It's currently only affecting our search function but it renders the application unusable. We're currently addressing an upgrade from 2.1.20 to 2.1.27.36. This is the only blocker on our upgrade now.

Updated from an older Teampass or fresh install: I've been working to upgrade us from TeamPass 2.1.20. All the passwords appear present and I've identified an upgrade route which works, aside from this errors :(

In our case I've been able to look at the Developer tools output and identify the JSON response. Passing this through a Lint tool revealed:

Error: Parse error on line 5: ...m_label-4491">" Jumpbox " aka rms-en ----------------------^ Expecting 'EOF', '}', ':', ',', ']', got 'undefined'

There didn't appear to be anything wrong with the entry when viewing it via the Password button, but I removed the quotations and saved it. Since then search is working without errors! I've even been able to add the quotes back and it's still working just fine. I'm wondering if there was a hidden character, or issue from a copy / paste that messed this up originally. Either way, I'm happy we now have a fully working solution and an upgrade path from 2.1.20. It'll certainly be nice running a more recent version!

I have just upgraded to the latest version (2.1.27.36) and the issue still exists, so one year after reporting it you still haven't fixed it!

Hi everyone! I'm getting the same error in freshly installed setup 2.1.27.36 with LDAP/AD user creation enabled. It happens only on the first page and only in case you have created several users via AD. Some domain symbols interferes with json list like @ or \ ? If I press None on filter or simply letter 'A' then I'm always getting this error. If I pressing any other buttons then I could see other users or empty pages without error. I'm looking forward if someone solved it and could give me a hint. Default language is English, admin language is English (error happens in other languages too, so it's not related and related to complete user list or user-list with name A)... Thanks in advance!

Updated from an older Teampass or fresh install: I've been working to upgrade us from TeamPass 2.1.20. All the passwords appear present and I've identified an upgrade route which works, aside from this errors :(

We had the same problem and we solved it. The problem was items with tabs in the name.

Here's how we looked for the problems:

open search page (teampass)
open the console / network (F12)
refresh page (F5)
search for find.queries.php

1/ Lorsque je me connecte en admin et que je veux afficher les utilisateurs j'ai exactement ce message d'erreur :

DataTables warning: table id=table-users - Invalid JSON response

2/ J'ai modifié la langue pour basculer l'utilisateur de francais à anglais. 3/ Plus de problème pour afficher la liste des utilisateurs.
