Weird up/down movement when scrolling
Model SM-G930F
Android version: 9
TTRSS-Reader version 1.94.6
When scrolling up and down on an article in TTRSS-Reader I get a slight "kickback" kind of movement, so scrolling down finishes with a slight up movement, making it quit hard to move to the bottom of an article for example. I can't flick smoothing and have to press, move my finger, then release.
I'm not sure if this description is enough for someone else to understand the bug, but I'm hoping this will right a bell or be understandable.
Thanks in advance, if you have any ideas, as it renders reading in the application quite frustrating.
Can you try to disable animations (Preferences -> Display -> Enable Animations) and see if the problem persists?
I also encountered this a while back but currently I don't have it.
I had this problem too, so I enabled and disabled the Animations. It got better, but the scrolling is not totally fluid. I notice a few 'locks/brakes' when I try to scroll with a light touch with my finger.
Same here on Android 11 on a Pixel 4 XL: Version: 1.95.8 Versions-Code: 1958
Same here Android 11 on Xiaomi Poco F1 Version: 1.96.1 Versions-Code: 1961
Problem persists when animations are disabled/enabled
I got this issue too: Android 11 on Note10+
It seems this "slight" bump depends on scroll down speed or acceleration. When I quicly scroll to skip pistures the bump is not "slight" anymore.
Version: 1.96.1 (Latest F-Droid one)
I've had this issue on lineage 14.1 and 17.1. It's much worse on 17.1.
It seems better if I change the device performance profile from Balanced to Performance.
It looks that this bug is gone! 😎
@Dtrieb what version fixed this for you? I'm currently on 1.96.5 from f-droid and I still experience it.
