AutoFill does not work on iPhone 6s (possibly others)

If a user selects an option from AutoFill, their input is ignored and the field is left empty.

To reproduce: visit the live demo page on safari on an iPhone 6s. The phone input is correctly identified as a phone number input, and AutoFill will suggest phone numbers to fill in. Selecting one to fill is ignored and the field is left blank.
