Can't control Bluetooth bulbs but state correctly updates. Log shows ShuttingDown IndexError

Open sourworm opened this issue 2 years ago • 5 comments

I have an indoor wifi plug and three bluetooth bulbs. I can turn the plug on/off in HA and the state of the three bulbs correctly change if I turn them on or off in the Cync app, but I can't turn the bulbs on/off or control brightness from HA.

The log shows this error ShuttingDown: IndexError: list index out of range

I had this integration working previously, but developed issues even in the Cync app and uninstalled the integration, went through troubleshooting with Cync support and ultimately got the plug replaced with a new one due to seemingly faulty wifi on the plug. Now with the new plug and new install of the integration I have the above error and issues.

I tried the troubleshooting steps in #19 without success.

Have you tried the latest update? I'm not sure what is going on without more information. To help debug, please try running my cync_data.py script (on your laptop with python, not your HA instance) and post your results (redact sensitive info if needed)

I'm seeing this same error after setting up the integration. It looks like states are updating, but I cannot control any bluetooth bulbs from HA. I also tried deleting the integration completely and starting over, as well as the steps in #19 without success. Here are my results from the script Archive.zip

Please take a look at issue #39

I think your issue is the same

I am having a similar problem. The bluetooth bulbs correctly display their status in HA but if I try to toggle the on/off in HA the bulb itself does not toggle and then a moment later HA returns the on/off to its initial state. The cync wifi plug does respond correctly from HA.

The bulbs respond correctly using the cync app.

Same deal, 3 Bluetooth bulbs and 1 wifi plug, the bulbs have not worked yet in hass, just report their state properly.
