For security reasons, an URL parameter should only be able to disable, never enable. I personally think opening links in a new tab (where the engine will always be disabled)...

The goal here is that Lichess would be the provider to "Log in with Lichess" on third-party sites.
Definitely agree if there's a good way to feature-detect it. If not, deleting it should be fine. The gains (if there even are any) are pretty minor.
