"Open" doesn't work

I hit C to bring up the open screen, hit the ok button on the remote (in the center of the directional buttons), type in the name in the on-screen keyboard that appears, hit the OK button on the keyboard/dialog box, and then nothing happens. The app sits on the open screen with my entered text, but nothing loads and the app stops responding.

no i have exact the same. even in 3.7 with E series TV
