I have this problem with Ubuntu 24.04.1, hand detection doesn't work. Ubuntu uses Wayland but this option has X11 only and manual one.
for me touch works but a lot worse than before. something broken with this thing. windows works good as it was before. linux surfae recognize touch like mouseclick i guess......
