Model, Code release & Integration with CAD/DDC tools
HI,
MeshGPT will be huge for the 3D industry, I'm really excited to try it out. Do you have a plan to release model and code?
More importantly, integration with any existing content creation tools would be great, especially Blender3D
Thanks!
Beyond that, making the release MIT/Apache licensed would enable many to contribute back changes to the repository. I'm a researcher working in community-led AI and I can't fully express how wonderful this contribution is and what it can do to local communities, if they can use it social and what are thought of as commercial contexts.

Check out this implementation, they added also text-to-3. Work in progress but seems to go in a good direction. https://github.com/lucidrains/meshgpt-pytorch
Hi guys, we're still waiting for a legal approval from our collaborators for releasing the code and the models.
It just released a little preview for meshgpt on huggingface, it can generate simple objects quite fast. A 4090 can generate a 250 triangle mesh in 3s while a 3060 does it in 7s. You can even generate multiple objects at the same time without and performance cost!
