[Wear] Complications designated Tap for action stops working a short while after app/tile is visited
Complications work better in 3.3 than ever before. Now wear app, tiles and their actions works when using external watchfaces with complications.
However, after testing complications abit more I notice that when you tap the complications the configured action fails to start unless you visit a tile or app right before. After a few seconds tap for action stops working again.
I did a quick check and this was also broken in 3.1 and 3.2 so it's not caused by 3.3 changes.
Is this still an issue? The panel commands not working on non AAPS watch faces was solved a while back on the dev branch but I'm curious if it is still not working on the master branch. Will be upgrading phones this week and am curious which branch I should use.
Just following up on if this is still an issue? I can't find anything in the release notes for the master branch.
This was fixed some time ago in dev, but I just want to confirm if the fix is also now live in master as I will be upgrading phones this weekend and am not sure which branch to build.
I will check when I have time. Haven't tested with 3.3.2.1 or latest dev
Still happens with 3.3.2.1. Will test latest dev later. You need to wait a few minutes for tap for action stops working
Thank you for checking!
I will stick with Dev for now, especially because the master version of the wear app keeps failing in Android Studio due to some sort of version mismatch that I can't resolve.
So issue still occurs for me on latest dev also. For my test-rig I got a Samsung GW 4. Not sure what watch you are using. Are you sure that tap for action on the complications works after a few minutes idle, without visiting a tile first?
