Flickboard looks like a great MessagEase replacement, but I'm missing the Macros feature.
E.g. to enter one of my email addresses, I just used to type two mnemonic letters and then tap the complete address in the word completion bar. MessagEase also had macros tokens
Flickboard currently doesn't have word completion / spelling correction, and I personally don't miss those features that much. Maybe FB could implement customizable macros via the suggested top-left "substitution key" from #72? Users need a lookup list of available compositions anyway, and if the substitution list is editable and allows to emit multiple characters, then that's exactly what's requested here.

Hm, currently the "substitution key" has ended up kind of superseded by Zalgo mode. Not that that really changes the rest, it'd be neat to be able to define custom Zalgo combinations.
