Architecture Question; OSD_Max7456.h

This is not a defect per se and more of an architecture question. Is all writes to the OSD chip done in OSD_Max7456.h/.cpp? If I wanted to target a different chip, would I only need to rewrite that file or more to the point, create a new BetterStream derivative? Thanks.
