Nifskope Version 2.0 Dev 7 refuses to open
I honestly haven't the faintest clue as to why, I hadn't used my pc in a few days, it was working fine when I left it all of a sudden today upon getting on it refuses to open. ive tried disabling the firewall running as admin, but nothing works, the old version 1.1.3 opens fine but is unsuable for what I need it to do. any tips would be handy
@Antreus With someone finally trying to help me figure it out, I think I actually found the issue. Some platforms seem to be choosing the wrong rendering path more or less, by trying to using something called ANGLE instead of just normal desktop OpenGL. If you could please put this BAT file in the NifSkope folder and see if double clicking it makes NifSkope open and let me know, I'd appreciate it.

Not sure if Antreus is having the same problem as I am, but my NifSkope 2.0 dev 7 is crashing as well. Tried the batch file, and it still crashes on start. Here's the crash details:

In case you're wondering, I'm running AMD reference drivers, Adrenalin Edition v 18.5.1, release date ~ May 6 2018(?). Dunno why, but it looks like my version was replaced by v18.5.2: I don't see v18.5.1 available for download anymore.

Hello first time here I've been having the same problem as @Antreus, I have also tried @jonwd7 solution OpenGL Desktop.zip this open's nifscope but it then crashes when I try to do anything, help would be appreciated as i am working on my first Fallout 4 mod.
Ok so I've been looking for issues on my end i don't have VC++ 2015 Redistributable I instead have VC++ 2017 is this the problem?
Having the same problem. NifSkope-nightly-20140710 work but the new versions crash on start. I have a laptop with intel HD3000
@jonwd7 THANK YOU! No one seemed to reply that it worked and for me it worked. Been trying to get nifskope to work again for like a year, Shaking at the program realty hard hoping something would happen, used your bat and BOOM, instant launch, no problems, like a strike of lightning, nearly had a heart attack but in a good way. thank you nice job!
Same issue as well. Worked fine last week and now it won't even open. Need to get this working, anyone have other suggestions?
