I use this module with KernelSU 1.0.2(11986) in ColorOS14 works fine for me Screenshot_2024-12-19-00-09-27-77_572064f74bd5f9fa804b05334aa4f912 Screenshot_2024-12-19-00-09-34-43_f7aa348215f5d566f9e4ca860f474209 The crashing problems and so on is the MicroG problem itself,I use it well after activating FakeGapps xposed module. It is a really great project, could maintainer keeps updating MicroG version? Thanks!😍

The supported version check is for the sake of avoiding privilegied permission consistency check failures causing a bootloop. The privilegied permission allowlist is part of the module itself and not the microG version but has to be updated every few versions when microG uses new privilegied permissions, which is currently not automated. I will update and verify this whenever I have free time.

However, upgrading microG by just installing the new APK does not trigger these checks. This is why the README has an entire paragraph about how it's fine to just install the update without any adverse effects. New users can install with the last supported version and then update. I'm aware this is inconvenient, but it's not a blocker that prevents people from using newer versions with bugfixes.
