MicroG + Module Install Success, Apps Unusable/Stop

I followed all the steps listed for installation, and was successfully able to both install and use the module. If the module is attempted to be installed again, it will fail and state 'expected MicroG install path to be in /data, but it's /product/priv-app/GmsCore/GmsCore.apk'.

the companion app shows up in the apps list with a missing icon, and is called 'com.google.android.finsky.application.classic.ClassicApplication'. microG itself is hidden/unavailable, but shows in app list and errors as 'co.g.App' and also has a missing/default android icon.

upon startup and randomly throughout use, both will have crash errors on screen stating that the apps 'keep stopping', which will flash 1-3 times. it seems to happen especially when apps are opened [discord, firefox].

i have tried reinstalling a microg core apk manually, but the installation fails and says 'app not installed as package appears to be invalid'. this is the only fix for similar issues i've seen, but the github download link in the posts is a 404 message and im not sure if it was a special file i dont have otherwise.

heres a list of extra things i've tried;

• uninstall/disable playintegrityfix
• check modules [currently installed are: Gms uninstaller v3, Gms Installer Revived 4.1.0-0, NoStorageRestrict, Systemless Debloater, Windows Powershell, and Zygisk LSPosed. abd root is installed but disabled and lsposed with fakegapps installed]
• restart system [thankfully, play store doesnt reinstall itself/appear on any file checkers i have, microg apps stay installed but broken]

im on an android 14 stock custom rom, which did have gapps but seemingly uninstalled them, installed microg core as 0.2.27 and companion as 0.2.1. thank you in advance for any assistance!
