Use shelly devices to connect already existing PIR sensors and IR barriers

As the name mentions, I have an existing alarm wiring infrastructure and I would like to connect the NC/NO terminals to the switch inputs of a shelly i4 DC or shelly Plus 1. However, I haven't found a way to do make Alarmo recognize the shelly devices as binary sensors.
Is this feasible?
