Add export custom schedules (and other settings)
Should have a button that when pushed provides text to copy/paste into another browser and load up settings. This will make transferring schedules across devices easy.
If the best way to do this involves storing data server side, then we should make sure that it is optional to store the data server side and no personal schedule data is sent without explicit consent. That is, using current behavior which doesn't send anything to the server should continue to be client-side only until someone decides to share the schedule.
Is there a way to export custom schedules? I am a teacher and created one for myself. I would love to share with less savvy teachers. Thank you.
Hi, I just found your tool and am considering implementing this year. It makes me a little nervous setting up a custom schedule (putting in that work) and then having no way to back it up. Has this feature been implemented yet?
I recently created https://edit.bell.plus which allows you to create public schedules that are accessible on any device (you get a unique URL). You could even create a schedule to share with others at your school.
Be aware that schedules in https://edit.bell.plus are public and may be discovered by others, so don’t put any personal information you’re not comfortable publishing online for anyone to see and save.
If you need a private schedule, the custom option is still the best way. There’s no export implemented yet unfortunately, but let me know if you’re still interested in this.

Thanks, I think this will work as a solution.
