Cannot remove incorrect bif files
With shows like South Park, videos can be placed out of order as the order you use for the files (i.e DVD order) may not be the same as the order used for the metadata (i.e Aired Order).
This can lead to files having incorrect bif thumbnails. However, even after deleting said bif files and generating a new set, the old bif files still remain; leading the timeline to be inaccurate.
Is there any databases or json file I need to change to update the link to the files?
There are json files that are made along with the .bif files in the same folder, but everything is generated using the episode file names so I wouldn't think changing the order visually would affect anything. If you use the default ordering are the trickplay images correct?
Sometimes; as the metadata would get updated to match the file associated with the trick-play images. But considering that it's often just 1 or 2 episodes out of order, I normally opt to just rename/replace the incorrect episodes. However, when scrolling the timeline, I still see the thumbnails of the old episodes; even after I've deleted the old .bif files and rerun the scheduled task. This is the same with accidental duplicates of episodes. Deleting/replacing the erroneous file still results in jellyscrub using the .bif files generated from the previous video; leading to the incorrect trickplay images.
