Specifications of creating compatible 3D models ?
Hi Nick,
Is there any particular specification of creating blender models exported as obj ? Is there any particular specification creating textures of models?
By specifications I mean scale factor camera distance etc.
There's no particular specification for the models. Only certain features are supported though - for example no multi texturing or bump/normal maps, or bones.
Textures can be rectangular, but must be sized with power-of-two dimensions. You will probably need to flip the texture vertically before importing into GLView however, as Blender seems to use inverse texture Y coordinates as compared to what GLView expects.
