Cannot open files by double-clicking from Finder (macOS)

I have Glogg set to open .log files by default, but double-clicking on a log file just causes Glogg to open an empty window if it wasn't already open - otherwise it brings the existing window to focus. However the file I clicked never gets loaded into Glogg. I can drag and drop the file into the open Glogg window to open it, though this is annoying to deal with.

Glogg v1.1.4 macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
