Feature Request: Remember Screen Layout
Each time when I open glogg, it opens with around ¾ parts of the screen filled with the unfiltered log file and ¼ part with the filtered log file. But I mostly want to use it with ½ ½. So eachtime I have to drag the splitter in Glogg around to get the screen layout I want.
My suggestion is that Glogg would store the last screen layout and on reopening use the last screen layout.
Glogg saves log views layout per opened file in session. @AndreasWWW is this feature not working for you? Or do you mean that screen layout for new opened file should be the same as for the previous one? Another option is to add context menu item to set current layout as default for new files.
@variar: What do you mean by "saves layout per opened file in session"? It seems this does not work for me. Always when I open a file, it opens with ¾ parts of the screen filled with the unfiltered log file and ¼ part with the filtered log file, regardless what I have used before with this file (or with any other file). Is there any ini-file or the like where the screen layout should be saved?
For me using the last used layout for every file would be ok.
(Also your suggestion to save a default layout by context menu would be ok for me. Though I don't find this to be consistent with other behaviour of glogg. E.g. the filter text is somehow saved and reloaded when opening another file. Screen layout should be treated the same. )
