TODO: Decide what we are doing about pybit.
[Seeing as we no longer have to maintain it as part of our day jobs]
Its nearly there, and would be a shame to let it go. 1 vote here for keeping it maintained. Discuss?
I personally would like to continue to support and develop it.
The key TODOs are probably documentation. The setting up of chroots for sbuild is non-obvious. The server setup is quite easy, its just the actual building of things. If we can get it documented enough so I can get it set up at home, then ill have a bash at it.
Yes, that and extending the redhat / git support. I'm currently busy this weekend, but hopefully next week we can start some of that. The other thing that occurs to me is providing ready made appliance type setups via virtual machine images. E.g. a debian server and build client.
In the near term I was also trying to write a cogent post for the python mailing list asking about the issues we've had with the client and sbuild to try and isolate where we're getting the problem.
RE: VM images, that is precisely what I was thinking.
Yeah, in terms of documentation, the chroot stuff isnt that hard. DPut though? Maybe a HOWTO for that?
