[Plugin] [NanoMiner] No longer working

Hi,

I started to use NHM yesterday Found NanoMiner were working for my AMD Ryzen CPU Today it's no longer the case and I have the following log :

Verus: trying to use "stratum" mining protocol... to disable this behaviour, specify: protocol=JSON-RPC log_2024-12-30_10-58-05.log

I tried to figure out where i could add the protocol parameter without success Tried to add it in Extra Parameters

• NanoMiner Parameter without a value protocol=JSON-RPC
• NanoMiner Parameter with a value protocol JSON-RPC and -protocol JSON-RPC
• NanoMiner VerusHash Commands without a value protocol=JSON-RPC
• NanoMiner VerusHash Commands with a value protocol JSON-RPC and -protocol JSON-RPC

it does not seem to be taken in account

Does anyone know how can I solve this issue ?

Problem solved by itself. Would be great if anyone could give me an explanation to avoid this or solve it quickier in the future

Problem is back again, done nothing and it reappeared

The actual workaround i use is :

1. stop the mining device
2. disable Verus
3. restart the device

doing this will force the device to switch to another algorithm

It's really painful when the issue appear when i'm not there to react. Any help to understand the underlying issue is welcome.

Thing is, when VerusHash is active and failing that way, NiceHash does not switch to another algorithm. In this condition, the mining efficiency of the machine is very bad.

What could be useful is NiceHash to monitor the profitability. If profitability is zero for a "long" period, it should switch to another available algorithm.
