Question: Is there a Linux version?
Is there a Linux version, or is the code Linux compatible?
Great question. How can we port this to UNIX?
This is duplicate of issue #71 , where you can find the following answer:
NHM will never be released on Linux. It is Windows only application and will stay that way.
We are preparing something else for Linux users and we will announce it when ready.
I'm working in my free time on my own linux version/port of NiceHash Miner Legacy named NiceHash QtMiner (because uses Qt) ... I'll will publish it when ready for use. Now testing GPU detection (NVIDIA seems working on my NTB wih QUADRO2000M, for AMD I need build PC with AMDGPU drivers)
That sounds great. Any updates on QtMiner?
CPU mining partialy works, but still a lot of work to be do
I'm hoping that I can compile and run Nicehash on NetBSD at some point in the not-too-distant future. I currently use NetBSD 7.1 (amd64) on a lot of 64-bit Intel systems with under-utilized CPUs.
@randolf I don't promise it for 1st release, but it should be possible - because I already have 1 project that works on Linux+Unix+Win - https://github.com/Lopo/Lotospp
@Lopo Updates? is any of it public?
@gidoBOSSftw5731 was paused because of NH hack and nonfunctional APIs and I haven't time because of work now I continue in fixing bugs in nonNV parts when I have some time - and still I don't own any GTX card to be able test NV parts of code Still a lot of work to be done before 1st public release
@Lopo Got it, I have a gtx 980 so whenever something gets close, ping me
good news everyone!

1st public version (based on NHML 1.8.1.10) ... contains a lot of dev/testing/unused/unfinished code ... but ... it works ! at least Claymores, Excavator, Ewbf and some ccminers ... at least mining ... known problems: benchmarking for some miners (especialy sgminer)
but I'm running it 24/7 for a few weeks ... just needs to elaborate which miners are working ... for some just manually set speeds ...
hey dude, how can I get your program set up on linux? your git readme consists of nothing
