Aqara M3, can you still telnet into it for Home Assistant?

Hi could anyone please verify if the M3 hub from CN or EU, can you still telnet into it and use custom firmware for the Aqara integration?

If it is impossible, can you still jam the hub into Home Assistant?

  • like the Homekit integration but a bit sluggish?
  • Matter as Aqara promise?
