Project status?
I'm very happy that this project exist, but what is current state of it? Is it active?
P.S.: There are some developers & projects that could be useful for continuous development of showkeys.

It's working fine for me and I haven't had any new feature requests so I've just left it as it is. I'm not particularly inclined to expand it into anything else though. Did you have something specific in mind?

Currently, I can't install it yet, so I'm waiting for package before testing it.

@nibrahim, can you add screenshot(s) that demonstrate all features of showkeys? It would be useful add such image to README.md too.
P.S.: I already test key-mon & screenkey, but want app with less dependencies, such as azpainter

I don't know if anyone's going to package this. You can compile it yourself though. It's fairly easy to do.
It's too skeletal to have screenshots but you can see the output in one of the emacsmovies videos I used to make http://emacsmovies.org/blog/2012/09/17/keyboard_macros/
Sorry, I don't understand why I was mentioned. Is it just because my project also uses xosd? Or is anything needed from my side?
@alezost I believe @Symbian9 just searched for xosd on github and linked yeah. It's somewhat rude... although I was not aware of showkeys but now am so I guess I'm not actually that bothered :P
