Losing formatting when switching between markdown and WYSIWYG (HTML)

Describe the bug

If you go to WYSIWYG and press enter x amount of times let's say 5 and go to markdown it will have 5 <br/> tags, if you then go back to WYSIWYG mode and then again back to markdown mode it now has 4 <br/> tags.

When switching between the modes the editor removes 1 <br/> tag every time it converts from markdown to HTML and vice versa.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Press 5 "enter" keys
3. Switch back and forth between WYSIWYG and Markdown mode

Expected behavior

I expect the conversion between the two to be stable and not remove stuff

In general, there are problems with the conversion between markdown/WYSIWYG(HTML) mode
