Refactoring code

First of all, awesome work :))

It seems like a few watson-ruby's code is not ruby way. Therefore I want to refactor some files and add test.

What do you think? If it is OK, could you create new branch for refactoring?

That sounds great! I want to check a couple more things into the master (get things to a more stable point) then I will make the branch
