Search Bar Pop Up when Clicked then Closed by Itself

I've encountered a problem with the Search Bar, I've tried clicking the search icon to show the bar/panel, then it closed by itself.

I believe the problem is inside the "scripts.js" file. Once i removed that file, it worked.

I saw the "index1.html" does not include "scripts.js" file and it seems to be working fine. On the other hand, "index.html" does include the 'scripts' file, which causes the issues.
