Creating notifications.

Hey, for notifications to work, I believe there needs to be a node function in the firebase site that listens for database changes. Do you still have those functions?

For some odd reason, the app never gets to that line of code. I put a toast before the createnotify method, but there wasn't a notification/toast when the app was in the background, in the app, and when in the chat.
