Network Path file not working
I got the PXE server to work perfectly fine. My issue is that it does not want to read any of the data from the networkpath.txt file. I set the path and shared it as I can access it just fine manually. However I want to make it easier and automatically not require me to type in the network path, the username and password. I put \pcname\pxe\aioboot|password In the networkpath.txt but it doesn't seem to work which requires me to again manually input the share and conditionals.
same problem here. *AIO Boot Creator v0.9.8.17 *Windows 10 x64 1909 =>trying to install Win10 x64 1909
on WindowsPE i typed network path: "\\192.168.125.125\p|pxehelper|pxepassword" and the Setup starts. i added exactly the same in networkpath.txt file, it asks for the path. If i rename the file to e.g. network_path.txt the booting stops with file not found. So it confirms it is the correct file.
I've found that if you only enter the share, it will use that share and only ask for the username and password. Not a whole lot faster, but you do save at least some typing (and you don't need to remember the IP/computer name).
I figured out an odd way and it seems to only be the case for some computers. The semi-solution is to add two of the same shares to the file.
\pcname\share \pcname\share|aioboot|aioboot
It still seems to have issues though.
I improved the situation by doing this:
\ path \ share | user @ domain | password
add the domain
Jun 2022 and the issue persists, any idea on how to fix this?
propably there is and second file "networkpath.txt" at AIO\Tools\PXE you have to configure
