Make Windows DDL optional

I think it might be a good idea to exclude the windows DDL objects from the final jar that is deployed to the maven central. I think that because, in fact, at least 50% of devs are not using windows according to https://insights.stackoverflow.com/survey/2020#technology-developers-primary-operating-systems
