Distorted cartoon/backbone trace

Tried different things for the 100D structure. It seems the issue is with the atoms used to define the trace + direction1 + direction2 which are not in the same plane as the backbone ribbon. This yields to a binormal vector oriented in the direction of the normal vector. Here is an attempt to change the reference atoms (not ideal as the ribbon plane is not in the direction of the principal axis of the DNA helix):
