Create utilities for time series collections

I'd venture to guess that time series rasters will be cumbersome to physically manage, and visualize. It would be convenient to be able to manage raster collections as a group so they can be operated on as a whole (I.e. Delete all)

It would also be useful to be able to create an animated gif export capability, related nice to haves being: able to apply a normalized color scale consistently across the rasters, support for time series kmls (ideally as a network link).
