Issues aren't really the best for broadcasting message - after a week this one won't be visible anymore (I know you can pinpoint).

I would recommend you also check the following github capabilities:

  • CONTRIBUTING.md will show in the bottom when creating issues as follow: image

  • Issue templates - https://help.github.com/en/github/building-a-strong-community/configuring-issue-templates-for-your-repository which will result in, you can add these documentation as part of the template 👍, that way, every users that will create issue will necesseraly see it: image

  • ~README.md which is usually the place where project without code add their guides~ - DONE

Yup! We've already got all those implemented, as well. A pinned issue just ensures that people see these links even if they bypass the README, etc.
